Why do Jets fans (not me) whine so much? they were never as bad as the Knicks

You realize this is the FIRST time since Kotite that we had 2 non winning seasons in a row? The Jets havent won a SB but the idea theyve been a joke this whole time is just Jets fans whining. Like the Knicks were a straight joke for a decade. Nothing going for them AT ALL. Jets been to 3 afc title games. Jets are equivalent to IDK the Suns or smthg int he past decade and Suns fans dont whine like that. Even the 90s Knicks are celebrated, ok they went to two finals which is better than ECF but still they never won.

The Knicks would go into a season knowing there was no hope, so knicks fan couldn't be that disappointed. With the Jets (and the NFL in general) there was always some hope, but the coach/players/management seem to crap it away sometimes

3 AFC Title games are NOT Superbowls. That's why Jets fans have all of a sudden become very angry and bitter. Like CC said, it's HOW they go about their business that makes them embarrassing, but it's 44 years since they've been to a Superbowl. Meanwhile, the Giants have 5 and we're trapped in the Tom Brady era. Even the Knicks have gone to 2 NBA Finals. The Jets don't have that. The way it's looking now, we're in a league where you can turn around very quickly yet it looks like we have to endure another GUARANTEED year of this crap before the actual rebuilding starts.

How about answer me this: what do the Jets have going for them now other than Wilkerson?

In reality, the Rex Ryan Era has been arguably the best stretch in team history, but that's the fukked up part: I shouldn't have to look at 2 AFC Title games that we didn't win and 2 subsequent losing seasons and go " PROGRESS" There may be worse teams than us now short term and teams that have never won a Superbowl ever (the Suns are arguably the best organization to not win a title). Dammit I just want 1 fukking Superbowl. 1 and I'll never criticize them again. We're like Eagles fans (and even they got to a Superbowl). We just want 1. shyt I knew we'd lose 10 games, but show me something that has me thinking we can move forward. There's very little there and it's been that way for YEARS. Enough!

You play in New York. That's really it. Bringing Tebow in compounded the attention you would have received for merely having NY in your team's name. ESPN was literally camped out at your training camp. You guys were no worse than any other 6-10 team in this league. Yeah, booty fumbles are embarrassing, but the second Tebow came in that guaranteed everything about your team would be completely overblown, whether it be negatively or positively.

Winning or losing I always tell people the same thing about the Jets, they're not a bad team, they're not a good team...They're the Jets...They always find a way to embarrass themselves and their fans...I can put up with a bad team, I've done it for years when the Yanks struggled in the 80's and the same with the Knicks...Every franchise goes through rough stretches...

But it's one thing to suck for a decade and another to be an inept franchise...A complete joke and a circus for 40 years and still counting...The Jets have always been a horribly run franchise, one IMO that should not exist on a professional level...They are simply not a professionally run sports organization, they are a joke and a sideshow act...
