Maybe it has to do with the personality and past actions of each? Cuomo has been hated by many before all this he was just very powerful so it was concealed. His handlers did the full court press to block media outlets from even covering the story of his sexual assault accuser/victim resurfacing. His entire "mental health" gimmick was a PR directed shield against those allegations and suspect comments he's made over the years.

Cuomo must step down if these allegations are all true. Dems can't be taken seriously in the future if they don't call for him to step down.

So in NYC on cable we have NY1 and I. Weeknights @ 7 PM they air this show "Inside City Hall" which is actually excellent as far as informing you about city and state politics. Anyway, they had a panel with the host Erroll Louis (who is really good as well) and two other local pols or former pols talking about Cuomo's situation. Someone said that Letitia James is consider running for governor that might be why she is going so hard @ Cuomo. First time I heard that, but it makes sense but whatever just something to consider. Next I hear like on Friday or Saturday Letitia James says if any other women come forward Cuomo should resign. The second I heard that I thought, "Oh wow, I bet you another woman comes forward soon." Lo and behold Sunday morning paper two more women come forward.
On the real I think this sister is trying take dude out so she can take his spot. I don't like orchestrated campaigns but I like Cuomo even less so more power to her and she is doing a great job of weakening this political bully.

Cuomo became a national figure last year.
Easier to close the Pandora's box for a politician who enters mainstream discussion because of a scandal, than for one who was already in the spotlight.
