Why do characters in anime always have to announce their dreams and goals in the middle of a fight?

As I posted in another thread, the whole "power of friendship" and "My dreams are x" stereotypes, really kill a lot of anime for me. Which is why I prefer more adult anime. Cowboy Bebop and Trigun spoiled a lot of anime for me, because they were mature while being silly, and the main character didn't have a "dream to save all his friends and humanity"...they were flawed, and selfish, and thats what made them perfect. Dimension W, Gangsta, amd Aijin, are some of my favorites today, because they aren't marshmallow clouds of "helping my friends".

Low key Trigun had that too though. Cowboy Bebop did have it to a lesser extent but even that show had monologues of characters motivations. In fact, those are what made those shows classic. The range and motivations of the main and side characters.

Majority of anime is based on manga. All that talk done in the manga can take up half a panel end up taking half an ep to get through.
Best to stay away from manga based anime shows

Why do anime hero's always explain their super secret ability to their opponent, allowing them time to figure it out and counter attack it and be surprised that he countered it?:dahell:

Fair enough but the heroes (Spike and Vash) knew they weren't going to keep said alliances. To them, friends where ships passing by. They knew their friends would be an after thought, which made them inherently selfish. Especially Vash, who after "defeating" Knives, goes into seclusion (anime) and or stays a normal gunslinger (manga). As for the diatribes of their goals, Spike really only tells Faye, and sparingly. Vash doesn't even give anyone his full name. That was enough. When I first started watching Naruto, I was pretty much done with "my way of the ninja" and Naruto explaining his goal to every fukking person he met.

Watch better shows
Same reason the villains in pretty much all American media always have to announce their grand scheme to the hero while they have them apprehended instead of just killing the hero and accomplishing their plan:mjlit:
 they not ready for you to flip it
