Just the fact they are speaking english gives them the freedom to do whatever, its not like english was the main language there and they are just fukking up on the accents front

THE BARD WROTE A LOT OF PLAYS ABOUT THE ROMAN EMPIRE, SO WHEN HOLLYWOOD STARTED MAKING MOVIES ABOUT THAT PERIOD, THEY HIRED SHAKESPEAREAN ACTORS TO PLAY THE MAIN ROLES, BROTHER! THIS CAUSED THE AUDIENCE AND THE FILM INDUSTRY TO ASSOCIATE ENGLISH ACCENTS WITH THE ANCIENT WORLD, DUDE!

The thing that kills me though, is the English accent that we all hear ain't even old...shyt was invented in the 18-19th century.

The American accent is pretty much the original English accent, historians say Shakespeare sounds authentic when read with an American accent rather than an English one.

That doesn't make sense because america has like 25 accents....hell Texas has 2-3 alone, and there is a huge difference between every state in SEC country

I got to re-read the shyt, but yea... I'm trying to remember if they said it was the general "southern accent" or the dialect in the Northeast that's closest to OG English.
