Why is it when I see "black" people speak of slave trades in the Americas, in Africa, and into Arabia, Africans are never criticized? Its like they automatically jump to the inhumane treatment given by the people they were sold to, when it was these Africans selling people as if they were useless commodity. West Africans hands down have to be one of the biggest c00ns in history and in modern day. Then these afrocentrics over here in the Western hemisphere have the nerve to ask these people why they don't want to be Africans and why they shy away from their "African ancestry". :russ: .

Slavery has always existed in the world, even in Africa, and it was common in some places to sell off some prisoners of war/ misbehaving people for profit. However, it was not possible for any of the African leaders/chiefs to know of the horrors that would face their people once they were in the White man's custody and even then there were some African tribes who were vehemently against slavery. I think that most people place more blame on the Europeans/Arabs because they knew exactly of the crimes that they were going to commit- they weren't ignorant of it like most of the Africans were.

They were selling these people as commodity, like a candy in the store. They did not give a fukk about the horrors that would face these people. Many of these African empires were fighting to keep slavery when English were trying to abolish it. :russ:. Please stop.

I dont think the average african had the power to sell people, only chiefs and kings.

Just like politicians of today sell out their people.

Cant blame a whole race of people for the actions of the powerful...

Then why do it to whites or arabs? You think all their people had power to hold slaves? nikkas look at all these people like they're slave owners.

"A old 1675 map

Striking old color example of the first edition of De Wit's sea chart of West Africa, from his Orbis Maritimus ofte Zee Atlas.

The map extends from Senegal in the North to Angola in the South, centered on the Bay of Guinea.

There is a wealth of navigational information including sandbanks and shoals. The chart is a masterpiece of decorative engraving with illustrations of sailing vessels, compass roses and an elaborate allegorical title cartouche, showing Dutch and native traders, slavery images and local commerce. "

Look at them selling captives to the Dutch, right on this 1675 map. Zoom in on the top of the map of the link if the pic is too small.

Colonial apologists like the OP serve as to only create division amongst black people. This video clears up the fallacy of "Africans selling their brothers" that's propagated by white supremacists like @Deluuxe:

B-b-but not all Africans sold slaves! Only the chiefs and kings!

Not all whites held slaves only the wealthy could. The majority of whites were not slave holders.

But pointing logic out is something afrocentrics hate. They're a very emotional victim based people. Their victimhood will always overcome their logic. African nations allied with Europeans in the sale of slaves and practised slavery before Europeans showed up. Of course this narrative doesn't fit A. Their victimhood towards whites. B. Their mama africa mentality C. This idea that all blacks lived in this big loving one another utopia before the evil whites came and broke up their unity :mjlol:
