From his lowest of low in season 4 when he gave that kid a hot shot, to his attempted suicide to how normal he is in season 5
There isn't a better performance of an actor on tv period
You probably felt his role was relatable to your musty ass
I always wondered about that but then wasn't The Wire super underrated during it's run? I only caught the series after it ended.

The wire was snubbed constantly. That's why. Also the wheel chair guy in oz never got an emmy either and his narration between scenes was amazing

Are you seriously asking why one particular actor on a show that was consistently snubbed and overlooked - much to the dismay of viewers and critics alike - didn't win any personal awards? Breh, they weren't trying to give the WIRE the accolades it deserved, let alone any of the actors.
That being said, Bubbles was great and Andre Royo is a dynamic and engaging actor overall, however there were at minimum 5-6 other actors who had better, more award-worthy performances on that show over him.

No charaxter on the wire had a similar arc to even show they had those acting skills. Stringer n omar were break out roles but nothing they did really set them apart from anyone else they were just the superior actors of the group.
Bubbles shoulda got something imo.
