Because Lee never won a fight and never beat any of the big games. Always got his ass beat trying to attract pity
Never understood why people hyped up Lee. He was a simp, lame, swaggerless, weird looking, never won a big fight nor has he ever even become the greatest Taijutsu practitioner. His only biggest highlight was his fight against Gaara which he lost. Also when he first came at Sakura he came off extremely simpish.

Has an Anime simp ever won?Never understood why people hyped up Lee. He was a simp, lame, swaggerless, weird looking, never won a big fight nor has he ever even become the greatest Taijutsu practitioner. His only biggest highlight was his fight against Gaara which he lost. Also when he first came at Sakura he came off extremely simpish.

Thats mostly because of who he fights. He could beat sasuke's ass and even probably naruto if he fought them pre shippuuden. His 2 fights are against
1. Gaara. He has that sand tailed beast.
2. Kinimaro. By FAR the strongest villain (outside of orochimaru/itachi) that appears in part 1 of naruto. If he wasn't sick, he'd be jounin level minimum or higher with cursed seal.

For Gaara, the sand tailed beast didn't even enter in action though. Lee couldn't even bring him to that extremity despite opening 5 doors. Gaara juked him with a simple substitution and then a sand pillow. Gaara got up, dusted himself real quick, and got back up on the balcony to continue his day like nothing happened.
Meanwhile Lee...
Compare that to how Sasuke or Naruto fared against Gaara.
2. I give you this one. Rock Lee never really was threat to him though. I don't count getting a few punches in in Naruto, even though it's appreciated.
Kishimoto did this character too dirty. Didn't even bother to give him a W. Smh
I always said Might Guy's shine against Madara should've been for Lee.
impossible even as far as the plot goes....
Lee could ONLY open up to 6 gates come the Madara fight.
