Why didn't Masta Ace do more production?

Sittin On Chrome is a personal fav album of mine, and he did most the beats on there. Those beats thump too. What's the deal? Did he do joints for anybody else?

I didn't get into it until years later. I watched the videos when they came on The Box, and they looked like Deathrow or Luke videos. I know a lot of people had beef with the album since it sounded westcoast and not like the typical 95 NY album
