Finished this literally three days ago. It's only Season 1 but Lord God, it's up there with one of the best opening seasons to any shows I've ever watched.

Kevin Spacey plays Frank Underwood brilliantly, the acting and the writing is better than the majority of shyt out there.

Don't get me started on Claire too She plays such a good character. Doug Stamper tha Gawd. Top show.

my favorite character on the show. literally the most elegant woman i've ever seen on any show ever. she played the perfect ice queen. the dynamic between her and spacey was fascinating. it was like watching two anacondas on screen whenever they were together. both ice cold

Its shaping up to be one of those "IT" shows. One of those shows that everyone gives some kind of credit to like The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, etc. So hopefully it can keep the writing top notch and all of its luster isn't just the result of a grind it out election season that we are just coming out of.

I watched the first ep, got the rest on deck.

First ep was very good. Extremely good. But at giving it any kind of over all placement after only 13 eps. "Game of Thrones" is 2 seasons deep and I can't place it yet. Same way with "Boardwalk Empire", even at 3 seasons. I need 4-5 seasons before we start talking about all-time placement. A lot can go wrong in 1 season.

i'm not gonna put it in the same realm as the goats but it's definitely one of the strongest first seasons of any show any recent memory
