Why did the NFL schedule Baltimore late Sunday night, then again Thursday?

I mean why not give them a noon game on Sunday?

This has to be one of the quickest turnarounds I can recall.

is it really that bad? at least both games are at home. we had a road game right before the thanksgiving game last season.

or they could play a sunday night game in new york and then go play a thursday night game in denver like the jets did last season.
