To me, Buster Douglas was simply an
opponent Mike Tyson overlooked and didn't take serious.

Far as Buster goes he was in the best shape of his life and focus. He fought
The fight in honor of his mother that had
recently passed. During that night Buster
could've beaten just about any other boxer that night he was in the zone.

Edit: I think we all can agree when Mike
knocked Buster out that 8 count was slow.

I remember reading in his autobiography that he was on a serious coke binge and banging japanese chics left and right...he was completely unprepared for the fight and still almost won...his autobiography is a GREAT read!

If they had drug testing back then they wold of never let him fight that night...

Mike barely stepped in the gym for that fight and was coked up out of his mind...
