Why did Fury get a 10 second count in the first fight

but the ref waved it off for Wilder right away in the 11th round knockdown in the 3rd?

not saying he was "cheated" or anything.. Fury still is the better fighter, but just curious that's all

Fury got caught while on the way to winning the fight.

Wilder took a beating and was bleeding from every orifice.

You can't be this stupid to even think this. Wilder got beat up and was dead.. Fury got caught but he suffered no damage throughout the fight.

By the rules, a 10 count doesn’t mean the fight is lost.

I didn’t even know that until it was being debated recently. I believe the ref needs to see and believe the fighter is in good order, hence why some counts don’t even get past 3 if the fighter is :dead: e.g Wilder in the third fight.

How does the 10 count work in boxing?
