Not gonna lie, KRIT is in my top 5 and I'm afraid to listen to this album because I don't want to be disappointed. Almost everyone I talked to says they were underwhelmed....

Krit Wuz ....Here, Return of 4eva and 4eva n' a Day were all my shyt....what was the wrong with the album brehs?

Is he running out of creativity? Lyrics lacking? Whack production?

I'ma listen today, but :sadcam:

It was just not very good. The sample clearance issues hurt this album big time. For example the OG LFTU had that ill boom bap beat which for
me set the mood nice. The retail version completely pails in comparison. It's not a bad album if you forgot KWH, R4 & 4evaNaDay existed but since they do it don't really measure up.

In short, LFTU didn't showcase to new listeners what Krit is capable of.

I feel like 4evanaday was so good that this album had to at least be on par and it wasnt. i wasnt aware of a sample clearing issue but now that I am it makes sense. overall KRIT gets a lil preachy sometimes though, and on this album i feel like that shined more than quality music.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Sample clearing..plus other shyt made the album an instant skip after I heard it...I'm still surprised Curren$y was still able to maintain his core integrity with Stoned Immaculate..so I was very happy with that album...

I'm more than halfway through and I'm so fukking disappointed.

There's some gems on here but overall it's not even close to his last three "mixtapes"(free albums)
