Why arn't most action/fantasy/sci-fi/CB movies shot in higher FPS?

i think the standard is like 24, imagine infinity war with 90 fps or transformers or sum shyt. is it to costly to go over a film and render it? or wld it counteract with cgi and shyt like that?

The Hobbit was in 45 fps, iirc. Not every theater is equipped to run at higher frames per second and the cost to upgrade probably isn't justified
