What situation? Unless they want to burden their children and potential grandchildren with generational poverty, someone has to break the cycle. Now is the time to do it, surviving just to survive, isn't surviving. If they are that broke, they don't need luxury items and expenses (iPhones, Weed, CableTV, MK Bags, etc)

Most people go work some dead end job for peanuts, live check to check, and are about a missed paycheck from a financial catastrophe. I see plenty of people working in fast food, janitorial services, clerical work, and retail that are in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and older. Those jobs are cool for some young jit trying to establish themselves and are using that as a stepping stone, but once you hit a certain age you can't support yourself and a household off those type of jobs.
It isn't easy, if it was, everyone would be a programmer/engineer, it takes discipline to pull it off, a sorely missed attribute in modern society.
I never said anything about millionaires, you injected and projected your own insecurities. Applying for jobs, interviewing, asking for references from professors/lecturers are a start to building a career for yourself in STEM. Once you gain legit experience, then you can gain more opportunities. You mention crabs in a barrel and I only see you being a big crab trying to drag us down with your CAC.talking points.
