Why are there so many anti-black or racism ignoring black people in America?

From Thomas Sowell to Larry Elder and the newer crop of black people haters Candace Owens and "tell it like it is" black influencers (there's a lot!) on YouTube who peddle explicit white supremacy talking points - why?

Did they grow up around just black people? Or just white people? Have they never experienced racism? Self hatred? Money? Inability to see reality?

Do they see only conspiracy? Maybe it's ego?

They get trotted out by hardcore racists and conservatives as vindication for their beliefs. It really is mind boggling they don't see the virulently racist people that use them.

I'm in my 30s and have been around white my whole life. If anything I should be one of these anti-black people, yet I would never do that. Why would I submit to white people that way? Why would I ignore my own experiences?

Maybe they think that if they deny racism they can get around the effects of racism. I don't know.

Do you guys know people like this in your personal life? Or have theories for this strange phenomenon?

Actual. What explains this phenomenon?
I think a lack of engagement on c00n issues is the problem, no one is willing to take the time, or do the hard work of debunking the bullshyt... they simply dismiss them, and the dismissal is taken as a concession.

Even on here its easier to just point and say troll. :yeshrug:

money and fame for the top c00ns and grifters

wanting to feel like they're different, part of the power structure, and buy into ignorance is strength, freedom is slavery, etc Ie @DEAD7 , TLR, etc

I've met a few Dominicans over the years but for the most part I've never run into people with these mindsets, most of the Black people I know are immigrants or second generation and I live in NYC... I can't see myself interacting with anyone like that

I think most of them just do it for the money and/or they enjoy their token status. It's usually surface-level with these people and if they were capable of critical thinking then they wouldn't constantly repeat the same debunked talking points.

You can't blame the rest of us for not wanting to waste our time engaging with bad-faith actors, that just lets them off the hook. We don't have the burden to debunk endless nonsense when someone doesn't acknowledge reality or understand context (we see it play out in real life and on here repeatedly with huge threads about evolution, flat earth, etc).

It's not about being easy, it's about not wasting your time with someone who swears that 2 + 2 = 5.

For example there’s no one in the main stream media debunking or countering Candace Owens claims about George, which then gets retweeted by Trump and amplified.
People like her are dangerous... and must be confronted and actively engaged...

Maybe you're right. I keep oscillating on this point about whether to engage with these kinds of people, but if you let them go around spreading their bullshyt they start to infect thousands or millions of people, like a virus.

:ehh:

I agree in principle but engaging dishonest people like her can backfire and provide a bigger platform to spread their nonsense. We know they're going to deflect and straight up lie when faced with reality, and a lot of people looking for any reason to believe that idiocy will be exposed to it.

I'm not saying ignore them completely, but I think letting these people remain on the fringe while hammering home the real facts and arguments might be our best bet. It's like the flat earth threads on here, no amount of debating with those dudes changed their minds but they've spread their nonsense all across the forum now. Time would have been better spent by focusing on the facts and ignoring their attempts to spin reality. I see your POV though.
