Brehs I've been re-watching old episodes of Dexter (Team Dex
) and I'm always 
at the fact that Dex is ALWAYS outsmarting virtually everyone he work with, specifically he finds out, catches and kills the villains in 15 minutes while it takes the police force at least half a season to put clues together for a lead. Harry Morgan taught Dex all his skills which makes me wonder why he wasn't allowed to teach the rest of the police force so they can all be on Dex's level?
With that being said I realize Harry taught Dex in a way to not get caught so his skills have to be a secret... but what about Shawn on the show Psych? His dad taught him EVERYTHING he knows and every episode he be spotting stuff and solving the crimes and throwing it in their face like "I'm psychic bytches
" while everyone else stay like 
My point is that why they never have the Adrian Monk-type characters school the police force instead of constantly hire them to do the work but not give them any props?
