Why are the Celtics of the last few years hated on so much like they're failures?

They're basically are the definition of success. They won the championship their first year and have been to another finals and some ECF and have contended every year yet idiots wanna classify them as under achievers and that they never really lived up to the hype.

The Celtics are actually only getting better and pretty much are securing the fact that they will not be dark again like the years before the Big Three era. They are one of the best teams to watch over the last 5 years.

The fact that people hate the team or city so much blinds them to the fact that the Celtics have basically been the best team in the league besides the Lakers and Heat over the last few years. Really who has been more consitant as of late?

All that "Big 3" hype produced one title in 5 years

and they lost the finals up 3-2

But the fact that they've pretty much been amongst three or four teams considered the darlings of NBA media since the formation of the Big 3 doesn't trump some hate on the-coli? And honestly, the only "hate" I've seen thrown their way is cats calling them old and predicting their demise. Also hate thrown KG's way for his antics (which the media never gets on him for). They're always consensus top 3 atleast in the East in everyone's opinion besides the old comments.

I'm a Knick fan, so it's really hard for me to see a cat claim his team is getting hated on in circumstances like that.

First, who gives a shyt if the C's got haters? All that means is they doing something right.

..but look. The squad was together for five years. they were brought together to win a title and did in the first year. Whatever happened after that is a moot point. They have been past their prime for years now. I wasn't sorry to see Allen gone. I'm not sure Terry will be a whole lot better but we had to shake things up. Celtics weren't winning another title with Allen as a key piece.

It's a likable team with a likable coach. They are appreciated in Boston so much compared to the other teams at this point because you know they're always gonna fight and they'll never give up. They play hard every game.
