I think if the Child support/court system was fair to men, a lot of guys would be glad to step in as fathers.

That's part of it.

You also have to understand that, relative to white men, black men tend to be in a financially worse position to care for their seed. That's apparent if you look at the unemployment rates and income levels overall. I would imagine this makes a lot of dudes feel that they wouldn't make good fathers anyway. Not that this is a good excuse but I would imagine it would be hard to have your kid (not to mention babymama) asking why you don't have a job and you'd probably feel like crap.

TLDR; lack of money.

Of course the solution is to not knock up chicks unless you actually want a kid, but that's too much for some nikkas I guess.

Good for you. I personally find no problems with the current laws on the books for child support. I once went to court to pay a speeding ticket. Before I had my hearing, I was outside conversing with others waiting.

All them fools was sweating about to lose their jobs over child support. They said by not paying child support their license would be suspended.
