I've been doing them for a couple of days now, and they're getting easier, but like the top of my spine, below my neck on my back (I don't know what the name of it is) part feels weird.

I still don't know if I'm doing them right, but I make sure my elbows are tucked in and every thing else is straight.

You shouldn't be having neck pain doing push-ups. Try bringing your shoulder blades down and back while doing you push-ups. If it's still bothering you maybe do it on an incline. Put your hands on a bench and do your push ups
