Why are people saying the West is weak this year?

Do they just lack common sense? I keep hearing people saying how so many teams have bad records so the west is weak. No, it's just that the Thunder, Warriors and Spurs are THAT much above everyone. Those 3 teams are 56-7 vs. their conference right now . It's not that the West is weak, it's that we have 3 legendary teams running shyt. All of the top 7 teams in the West are still top 3-4 teams in the East.


Real talk though, The Lakers need to tank super hard. I can't sit back and watch Philadelphia waste Ben Simmons talent

And I'm also saying that the rest of the West is 49 games under .500 against them.

And that the West is 16 games under .500 against the top 3 seeds in the East (Cleveland, Chicago, Miami)

Yeah, but LeBron is basically an anomaly, excluding the Jazz if he were on the playoff teams in the West they too would most likely be in the finals.

The East and West are 100-100 right now like @SchoolboyC pointed out the top of the East has been better vs the top of the West.
