All Star
I don't understand it really.
He no showed a couple of times, held up Vince for money at a Summerslam, terrible attitude backstage and wasn't a great worker/unsafe in the ring.
And it still burns your soul doesn't it?He no sold my pedigree at WM12.
The Warrior might not have been one of the boys backstage, but you kinda have to respect what he did: prime Warrior defeated prime Hogan, clean! And at Wrestlemania of all places! Hogan was untouchable at that time but Warrior forced his hand.
It's a dvd called the rise and fall of the Ultimate Warrior or some shyt like that on netflix. It tells the whole story.
warrior didn't force anyones hand
Hulk Hogan was leaving to film No Hold's Barred
they needed a new champ and vince and him decided to push warrior since he was the most over after Hogan
Hogan is the once who decided to lay clean to put him over, hogan was the one who layed out the match
Okay, didn't mean to make it sound like Hogan jobbed to Warrior, he was "passing the torch". But still, a clean win over Hogan for the HW belt is insane! And this is before the internet age and "wrestling is scripted" era, so it was a very big accomplishment for him.
All I know is the prowrestling industry is definitely a popularity contest. If Warrior was not one of the boys, not a company man and ONLY looking out for himself (as everyone claims in that character assassination DVD), his career could have gotten buried with the swiftness, EASILY!
