Cuz if you don’t like something someone else likes.

Wrestling fans of the latter brand will get emotional, lie, juelz about shyt and start taking personal shots that have nothing to do with wrestling or content.

One Piece anime fans know some peeps don’t like One Piece. But they don’t care and don’t/wont go out their way to attack Naruto, Dragonball Z, or etc fans (and Vice verse)

Anime fans are more self aware

wrestling fans, there’s levels tho for example:

You got the stereotypical neckbeards: the ones treat wrestling like a literal sport and will gatekeep wrestling at all costs and will harass a bad bytch cause she got introduced to wrestling by coming across WWE one night and hasn’t seen every G1 Climax since 1991

Then there’s the too school for cool neckbeards: Ya know the ones that make fun of other wrestling fans for enjoying wrestling, the ones that act like they’re the cool kids in the room for liking a certain style of wrestling but they’re just as much beards as the fans that like a different style

Then there’s the wrestling fans that share the characteristics as certain anime fans:
The maniacs, the ones that treat fictional characters like they’re there wives/husbands, the ones that would buy a pillow of said fictional character and do ungodly things to it, the ones that will allow themselves to get scammed because said fictional character asked them to send some money. The ones that will threaten said fictional character because they got real life married and they felt like it should’ve been them instead (ie Alexa Bliss and Jon Moxley stans)

The Tribalist beards:
This has been a growing problem since 2019. These are the ones that keep up the most shyt in the IWC, these are the ones that refuse to give props to a promotion because they feel a certain sense of loyalty to the other promotion. The ones that will harass a wrestler cause they @‘d another wrestler from another promotion, they’ll be like “don’t tweet at her again, she’s ours!”.

wrestling has an emotional toxic fanbase, i would never tell anyone outside of my close circle of friends and family i watch it
Even though i barely watch it as i did when i was younger

i got no problem with people who watch Anime, theirs bad shortys who like to cosplay that shyt too so thats a plus. That weeb culture is some of the cringiest shyt, and just as bad as Wrestling neckbeard incels

Both are one in the same IMO.

Example: the same way non-WWE fans say WWE isn't real wrestling, anime purists say that mainstream anime like DBZ, Naruto, My Hero Academia, etc isn't real anime. Both have smelly, fat, virgin neck beards in their groups.

But some, not all anime fans be into that "Lolita" mess. Having underage anime girls portrayed in hentai and insectual role play. So with that I will say anime fans are worst.

Never seen or heard news reports about some anime fan being on weirdo time by stalking the voice behind their favorite female anime character or male character. Sure they do some wild shyt, but some wrestling “fans” are a different breed. I always put quotations around the word fan whenever there’s some bs that goes on within the IWC that involves folks taking things too far. You not about to see me in 4K outside a wrestler’s crib, hotel, or at the airport at 4am like
BeQgbMJ.gif

waiting for nikkaz to land when all they want is some sleep and prob food before having to get right back up to get a workout in or other shyt all before showtime.

Even if I see a wrestler out in public, I’ll be like :ohhh: that’s so and so and KIM. If we make eye contact, then I’ll give a head nod followed by 🖐🏾 or chuck the deuces and still KIM. If we end up engaging in a quick convo then cool. Not gonna press the issue for them to stay and take 20 plus photos or have them sign shyt. That’s what meet and greets are for. Imma keep it chill and respect that I’m seeing Joe Anoa'i or Bianca Crawford at the moment minding they own business doing regular people shyt and actually having a second to breathe by being away from the spotlight before they get the call to fly out somewhere last min which could be at any second.
