If I recall it was the big gold belt but it was not the new championship they called it the wcw international championship the nwa title still had a separate lineage it just went back to the old school design. This was not the nwa title.

What I mean is: The big gold belt was still being used for the NWA Championship, and WCW still picked who the NWA Champion would be. Ric Flair was both WCW and NWA Champion when he dropped the title to Rude, which the NWA didn't agree with so they ended the relationship completely, WCW kept the belt and renamed it.
