And again, this is because LeBron and AD took absurd contracts instead of trying to negotiate fair deals for themselves that allows the team to make moves.

This is why we couldn't do anything with Brook. These contracts getting out of hand and handicapping teams.
nikka no allstars are taking a paycut. The union wouldn't allow it be forereal

No nikka you just chatting he was all nba and a allstar the union definitely would have stepped in are you crazy. That would reset the market for the entire NBA.

Lebron/AD taking less is not going to turn Pelinka into a good GM

Saying Lebron is greedy when he's still the #1 draw and was the best player in the WCF is a bit harsh

The Lakers can still get Mitchell by way of sign/trade

The penny-pinching Laker ownership is the main problem, not Lebron/AD.

If Bron told LA he wanted a lesser salary to bring in help (which is my entire point nikka, YOU'RE the one that brought up taking a "pay cut"), why the fukk would the union have a problem with a player initiated contract negotiation?

Are you aware of the money LeBron is supposedly getting next season for a single year??

Head room is head room.

Being able to even attract a $20 million player is helpful. That takes other teams out the mix if you have the cap space. Entire problem with us now is we never have cap space, so teams outbid us and players take the bread.

Do you honestly think Monk wants to go to cowbell country if we could have afforded to pay him?

Y'all wilding up in here :dead:
