We all know this. A motivated and healthy AD is an MVP candidate. Problem is he's never healthy for entire season, so the Lakers usually don't end up at top western conference places for home crowd advantage.

Lakers should just sit AD with a made-up injury for the next two months or as long as they can coast with Rui/Wood/Hayes as their bigs alongside Bron.
Then sit Bron for a month after the All-Star break to rest up for the playoffs and get AD into takeover mode.
Bring 'em back together with 15 games left in the season so they can get into a groove and climb up a couple spots in the standings.

They say Bron diminishes stars and elevates role players. It still rings true to this day. Dude is about to reclaim Cam fukking Reddish and turn him into a valuable commodity in this league. It’s like his superpower to be able to utilize guys who normally can’t be utilized and are lost.
As long as you have the talent and desire Bron will elevate you…every single time.

Wanted him to be diet T Mac when he was on the hawks but he never put it together playing with them bozos. Infighting with the players, players beefing with coaches, & coaches beefing with the front office. Glad he got away from the BS & is showing his potential

Dlo and Rui are the odd men out. With the emergence of Reddish Ham will NOT play Rui consistent mins from here on out. Rui is only gonna log big mins if there’s an injury.
On the flip side the lakers still need a consistent 3rd scoring threat. Instead of Lavine…I’d prefer Jerami Grant. Gives u 90% of Zach’s offense but a much better defensive player. Also comes much cheaper.
He’d be a better option but I’m in the minority that still thinks Zach’s game would be elevated playing with LeBron and AD. With the way he shoots the ball. He’d be a monster. I’m just not willing to give up Reaves to get him….
