Y'all told me we was the 4th seed though
@jaydawg08 told Laker fans who were here when Kaman was sleeping on the bench that they weren’t real Laker fans if you didn’t like this team just a couple weeks ago btw

I only mention people you, @10bandz , @Torrential , @Trojan 24 etc@jaydawg08 told Laker fans who were here when Kaman was sleeping on the bench that they weren’t real Laker fans if you didn’t like this team just a couple weeks ago btw
All this is serving is Bron and his bytch ass fans. That’s it. His fans don’t even care about winning, they think shyt like the Bronny pick is amusing. Everyone knows this, that’s why this thread is dead, that’s why true Laker talk in many spaces is dead.
I've probably watched 2 quarters of Lakers basketball this season. Nothing about this team is worth celebrating or thinking they can do anything. The Lakers are a soulless husk of a franchise right now.
Every time they lose a game, the closer it is to the end of the LeBron era.
Reaves isn't as bad on defense as he seems. The real problem is he's a 3rd option on this team...and he isn't good enough on offense to offset his below average defense. A year ago with peak D'lo averaging 18 a game he was the 4th option and was actually the POA defender on the team. Crazily enough he was decent at times. But now that he has more offensive responsibility he can't sustain the defensive effort he brought last year....which now makes him a piss poor defender who is just target practice for teams. But he can't go get you 20 every night....he is also doesn't do well with ball pressure and is not a true PG. So in reality he's a 4th option masquerading as a 3rd option who has to occasionally step into the 2nd and even 1st when Bron and AD don't have it. And it seems like both Bron and AD just aren't apex options anymore which speaks to the deeper problem on the team
This team can't be successful with Reaves in this role and they need a player who can reclassify the peaking order and command attention or they aren't doing shyt and it won't matter if Bron and AD stay healthy anymore. But you aren't getting such a player unless you're willing to trade Reaves which is why the Lakers are just stuck in the mud.
Would a Zach Lavine be an upgrade??
Yes but not a drastic upgrade over Reaves. Bring in Lavine and he might give you 20/5/5 and slightly better defense, don't be fooled by his athleticism. With D-Lo gone the package would probably cost you Reaves, Riu and picks? Not worth it to still be first round fodder
