Russ was still on the team with Darvin was hired. He came into a bad situation. Both him and Vogel got got because of the Russ bullshyt.
Each of the coaches lost the locker room.. Vogel was tuned out by some of the vets and Russ, and Darvin was tuned out by damn near everyone
I mean, it’s been reported that a lot of the Lakers offense was them calling their own plays and doing whatever the hell they needed to since Darvin didn’t do anything.. and that he was unprepared on a nightly basis
JJ is a rookie, but he does have Nate McMillan and Scott Brooks on his staff. Who were the notable assistants last year besides Phil Handy who’s more player development

I would think Brogdon wouldn't be too difficult to get off the Wizards. Dude's always injured so Dough Boy, JHS and a second should get it done. Roll him out for 20 minutes a night and he's a pretty big upgrade.
