They have never been able to pay Derozan and he never would have fit with LeBron/AD. The team needs floor spacers and Derozan doesn't shoot threes. It's not complicated.

He plays like before his Sr yr when he got that athletic jump.. when he was a sophomore he wasn’t athletic yet and his game was outside shooting, then he got hurt his jr yr and just kept playing that way

You got it mixed up.
He missed most of his SO year with the knee injury and then played off ball his JR year while they had Amari Bailey. But yea Rob told him in the presser he's too athletic to not get to the rim.
Its why I think he needs to be forced to play with the ball in his hands.
I legit think the James family assumed he was gonna grow to 6'5" or 6'6" and it just never happened.
