Guys what are y'all thoughts on the below centers and is it possible we can get them?
Hartenstein, Jalen Smith, Claxton
Hartenstein is about to sign a huge deal with OKC

Claxton already re-signed with Nets for 100 mil

Jalen Smith is a possibility, won't move the needle that much but a stretch big..:manny:

Claxton signed a new deal with the Net's and they are not getting Hartenstein.

Jalen Smith is another undersized guy.

Pelinka fukked up not getting either Drummond or Jonas.

Now they need to trade for a center.

I would like Jock Landale from the Rockets. Only makes $8 million a year.

John Hollinger on Max

Gotta be honest, I don't really get the Max Christie deal for a win-now team. He played 944 minutes last year with a PER of just 8.4, and by the end of the year, it was clear they couldn't play him when it mattered. He's 21 and has some interesting physical tools, but starting him at $7.2 million to evade a bidding war that might not have even existed, when they already had matching rights, seems like a stretch when the Lakers have to do so much work to side-step the first apron just to build out the main part of their roster.
