Drafting Bronny won't prevent the Lakers from signing an undrafted player. This would only look "bad" if one of the 3 picks after him becomes some kind of rotation player or better and he doesn't.

At the end of the day JHS scored 34 points total last year as a middle 1st round pick.

We got a top 10 prospect this year at pick 17 in the draft.

However, yes I do expect the Kansas player the Suns drafted after Bronny to have people wondering what if. Just gotta deal with it. See if it pays off in time.
