Didn't make any trades at the deadline (with the knowledge of potentially losing DLO) because he would be armed with more picks in the offseason for a big trade. Now, he's saying it's too difficult to make trades because of the CBA.

Bron is still performing at an extremely high level though, him and AD had a great season. They were just let down by Ham and the majority of players around them being extremely inconsistent.
Not even this, but the only way to get value out of Bron if you didn’t want him is to do a sign and trade. If/when he opts out he’s free to sign with whoever he wants and lakers lose him and gain nothing back
If he signs a team friendly deal, he doesn’t open up a ton of space anyway tho
