We saw these players last year. We have a lot of scrubs and mediocre players getting rotation minutes. Gabe, Cam, Wood, Hayes. All scrubs.
Having Harden isn't that bad of an idea
Can shoot the 3 ball, spreads the floor.. but most importantly CAN SET UP BOTH AD AND BRON. For as negative as Harden can be as a player, he is better than DLO as a player.
Harden is a negative on defense.. DLO is worse
Harden can go cold from the floor in moments... DLO is worse
Harden can at least set the table for Bron and AD... DLO hasn't shown the ability to do that

Harden's not even as bad as people say defensively. He's a weak point of attack defender but a good post defender and has quick hands. He routinely posts a positive DBPM while Dlo's is always negative.
Again, I'm not endorsing a move for Harden as that has its own risks that have to be weighed. He is 34 years old and is an impending FA that is gonna want a big deal. A lot of this depends on if Rui gets squeezed as there might not be enough minutes for everyone and a consolidation move might need to be made.
Sixers would definitely value Rui/Dlo as that's much better than what the Clippers have offered to date and I can't see anyone really topping that offer.

Why would we want Lavine, when Harden is the type of guy who is what we need in the halfcourt. Can give AD and Bron easy buckets while being able to spread the floor when offball and a solid post defender against bigger guards.Give me Lavine over Harden. This is not video games where you move the controller press x and the player does what you want

He’s a selfish scamming human being that only cares about himself and being a star but you and Kendrick Perkins on some yeah he’s perfect for what the Lakers need bring him in!!

I don't think he's "perfect" because no player is perfect.. but in the case of salary + needs, he fits the bill better than the current guy we have right now and def better than anyone else we'd be able to get

For years we've been wanting to find a guy who can be the PG and give Bron + AD easy looks after Rondo left. DLO isn't that guy.
Man Bron really pulled that shyt together at the end. AD needed more ball, good to see him show up in the second half after that first game though.
