I’ve also heard some scholars say that the “Diatesseron” possibility ended up being what Arab Christians or early “believers”/ followers of Muhammad (who would later become known as Muslims) referred to as the “injeel”;
It being a later Syriac language combination of all four gospels into 1 BOOK.
