Sir Ernie Grunsfeld peeped the goodness that is Bradley Beal long before everyone else did. So much so, he went above and beyond to convince the world, and more importantly Michael Jordan... That Michael Kidd Gilcrist was the best player after the Unibrow. I believed it, I didn't know anything about Beal honestly :manny:

Shortly before the draft it was revealed that the Wizards really wanted Beal, but MJ already made his mind up.. MKG has more potential :mjlol:

Well we can stop playing dumb now universe, Bradley at 20 >>> Kobe at 20 a great man once said. We'll start the bidding at D.wade and J.Shuttlesworth. No, those two combined couldn't net you a Bradley Beal.

Maybe this thread should be titled who WOULDN'T you trade for Bradley Beal :patrice:

who would trade wade and jesus who are both 13-15 years older for a young sharpshooter like beal :what:
Bruh, wiz not trading Beal. If the concept of this thread is too much for you to handle, kindly fly d fukk up outta hurr beeeeyatch :camby:
Beal reminds me a lot of Ray Ray. He can stretch the floor but if you close to quick he can put it on the floor and hurt you. And he's fearless too. Kid is nice.
On draft night they compared him to D.wade mixed with Ray Allen. I'll look up the thread later. That sounded pretty incredible, and since then? I've seen him live up to that critique. He can shoot it like Ray Allen in Seattle, he can drive to the basket and finish like Wade does (did) and has the pull up short range jumper as well.

Most impressive? He's doing all this at the age of 20, has the body of an adult (but not in a freakish manner) so imagine how good he will be by the time he's 25yrs old :wow:

Best player in the league? Not Impossible, highest "sure thing" ceiling imo. Wall amazingly still has the higher "possible" ceiling but whatever.

Beal had alot of ray allen comparisons coming into that draft. His game compares nothing to that of Wade's though. Wade is a slasher with unbelievable speed. Unstoppable 1v1. Wade's handles 10x better than Beals. Could get to the rack at will. Beal is more of a specialist. Run off screens and make jump shots.

Kobe at 36 = D.Rose at 25 = Done = :umad:
I can see the Ray comparisons

He doesnt really remind me of Wade tho. He ain't as explosive
He does everything Wade does. He doesn't rely on that style of play because he is better. Better shooter. But he can do everything you are saying he does not do. Plus you gotta remember he's only 20yrs old. He's still very early in his basketball career. You guys are not understanding Beal isn't a seasoned vet. He's a 20yr old kid, he's not supposed to be identical to wade in his prime/ray Allen in his prime... Today! Because Beal is still years and years away from his eventual prime. Prime Beal will be all of that. You guys don't know about Beal going hard to the rack. Diehard wizard fans seen it already.. Don't believe me just watch :banderas:

Have you ever watched Wade play? Wade's ball handling skills, ability to split double teams, and ability to finish in traffic/draw fouls are what differentiate his play style from Beal's. Wade had explosive athleticism like Westbrook does now. Their play styles completely differ. Young players with a similar play styles to Wade are Demar Derozan, Lance Stephenson, Victor Oladipo, Dion Waiters, and to an extent James Harden.

Beal right now is a good shooter like Klay Thompson, Ray Allen, or Wesley Matthews. These guys all can handle the ball a little and get a dunk every once in a while. But their play style benefit off team ball movement and a point guard who can find them in the right place. You don't give them the ball and say "go create some offense we need points."

Great young player, but Wade is an inaccurate comparison.

21, 5, 5 in the playoffs. Usually young players who ball out in the regular season don't get better in the postseason. That backcourt is growing up and making better decisions at the best possible time.
