Who would you have booked to win the rumble?

I think I would have went with Ali. Narratively, I think it would have worked considering his comments about Legends, I would have had him eliminating all the 08 veterans and Edge at the end , he's a very talented cat, good on the mic, he's young but not too green and he can go in-ring. RETRIBUTION is a shytty stable, but that's because of booking and creative choices, I would establish RETRIBUTION as a more credible faction by having him in the main event picture, he doesn't necessarily need to win the title, but he needs to look capable and dangerous against Drew, kinda like a Joker to his Batman, CM PUNK's NEXUS to CENA. Also, it's the classic face / heel thing that always work. Edge is a face, and drew is a face, it's just a retread of the goldberg match if you think about it.

Honestly they need to chill with these part timers winning titles and rumbles, imagine Bret Hart winning the Royal Rumble in 2007. You can sell a Edge WM match without him winning the Rumble.

I mean if they wrote Ali and Retribution well. And if they gave us a good reason to care about them. Your idea would work op.

I don't like Braun but he wouldn't have been a bad option. He and Reigns have history. Usually work well together.

Can't go wrong wit Rollins. Only thing is, he doesn't need the win. Already won the rumble recently. Plus he's faced Reigns and Drew a lot already.

Bryan would have been a good pick. Plus he's never won the rumble.

Lashley is another good option. He's been on a roll. A rematch for the title with Drew would be nice. Plus Hurt Biz could get involved.

Big E winning and finally getting over the hump would be a good storyline too.

It maybe early but Damian Priest pulling off a upset win would bring excitement and unpredictablity to the Rumble
