Lets say ROH decided to make the IWC peanut gallery collectively roll their eyes by creating a Hall of Fame. Who would go in?

  • Bryan Danielson: The most beloved wrestler in ROH history by a fukking mile.
  • Jay & Mark Briscoe: They're really the heart of the promotion.
  • Samoa Joe: His World title run put the company on the map.
  • CM Punk: The star of the most memorable angle they've ever done.
  • Nigel McGuinness: Probably the most well-rounded talent ROH has ever produced.

I'd say those are the most important names. There are quite a few others who've contributed a lot too though, e.g., Homicide, Austin Aries, KENTA, Davey Richards, Low Ki, The Kings of Wrestling, etc.

I mean why have a thread, you have named everyone who should go in and made arguments for each lol.

No one is going to dispute those guys.

I mean, CZW even has one. Its not so far fetched.

I'm not so sure about that though. I think you could make a case for everyone I mentioned in passing as being just as important as the names I actually put on my list.

:dwillhuh: I had no idea.

Wait...how have there been 8 posts already and nobody mentioned Davey Richards.

:stopitslime::stopitslime:

Davey Richards is arguably ROH;s GOAT.

Davey ruined the company to me. It was a slow decline when Nigel left, picked up a little with Aries, then tanked with Davey.

Yea lack of talent, bad writing, bad booking all contributed, but Davey's terrible no selling of anything left people like :comeon:

I think he's just letting them know that they need some more respectable talent.

In all seriousness, he's WWE star quality material. If pushed right, he'd be believable to the max, the man can cut a promo as well.

Others than I can think of:

Cary Silkin (Saved the company, essentially, in 04)
Gabe Sapolsky (You really think he shouldn't go in?)
Eddie Guerrero (I don't think he MERITS one, but as one of ROH's first draws in the early days, and a legend period; they might put him in if they had one)
Kings of Wrestling (Longest reigning tag champs)
Austin Aries (First and only 2-time champ, even though I think he's a bit of an overrated ass)
Eddie Edwards (First Triple Crown champ. Davey gets in before him, though)
Christopher Daniels (NOBODY mentioned ROH's first great heel?)
Steve Corino (Another heavy early influence through his Homicide feuds)

Not that I think that they would ALL get in if there was one, but these were names and rationales that I thought needed to be mentioned besides what was brought up.

But ROH has no business having a HOF, neither does TNA
