What exactly did Ja do that was corny? Looking back, he barely said much and then he dropped “Blood in my Eye” that was better than every album 50 album after “The Massacre”. People hated on Ja for no reason imo.

Ja put up a fight and aired out a prime Eminem which made him almost jump off the deep edge, and put out New York after which was a big hit song.
straight up, i wasn't with it then but he had some songs that really aged well. New York is legitimately one of the quintessential songs of that era. That beat drops and it still hits for real.
