lol

What made you say no first? He would've definitely been a better option than Cosentino
LOL, just frustration. I've been pissed at Golson ever since the GT game were he refused to keep the ball on the read option play to Cook on the goaline. He would have walked in for the TD. The JJ series and Sean being hurt/ineffective make me realize we could have used him yesterday. The OL and turnovers killed us so it may not have mattered who was QBing.

:ohhh: Whenever I hear UT and A&M fans talk down on UH it's because it's a commuter school. I didn't know their were was a racial component to it too. I have heard UH is in or close to inner city Houston.

That was actually a mistake on my part. I meant to address both Texas and aggy and in my drunken haze only talked about Texas. I meant to say texags instead of shaggytexas and the comments I was referring to usually involve some fans saying the school is located in a war zone that isn't safe for anyone. I don't have a problem with the commuter school comments as that's a valid criticism that is in the process of being addressed.

But since I mentioned shaggy I will say the majority of posters seem younger and longhorns under 35 have never had a reason to hate UofH. A few will pop up every now and then saying shyt I was referencing in my previous post but not like texags.

Older alums will never out themselves as racist so you have to look for the coded language. Ive heard stories from some of our older alums (white guys fwiw) that attended games at dkr and kyle. Some of the biggest boosters nowadays used to sit in the stands and tell jokes like, "what do you call it when the Cougars change a quarterback? They re-nig." There's a reason I badly want Strong to succeed...

How many people Houston got coming back...

Cause if they start out ranked high enough...

and fukk around and beat OU in week 1 they are going to be in the drivers seat for a playoff

Matter fact where is that OU Houston game at :jbhmm:

We should be better next year easily. That doesn't always translate to a better record but we'll be more talented. Ward comes back at qb. We lose our 2 leading rushers but our most talented back is a transfer from Texas who never played a snap. We lose Ayers at wr but Samples was our best wr in the spring and he was also a transfer who didn't play. Oline will be much more talented and experienced. Next year will also be the first year in a good while that we've had a oline coach stick around for year 2. Dline returns a lot. Biggest losses will be back 7. We lose our Mike (who is the defense's heart and soul) so that could be dicey but I like his replacement (who was the guy that knocked out the fsu qb for a while). We lose 4 of our 5 starters in the secondary which is the big issue. I feel really good about the top 3 corners we have returning but safety will be a challenge. We basically play 3 safeties and I've seen enough to be confident in only one of the replacements. The other two spots are where we need guys to step up. I haven't even mentioned our recruiting class but we should have some early contributors there. Wouldn't be surprised if Oliver is starting when we open against Oklahoma.
