I don't think they fit the Hurt Syndicate mold. Big Bill does even more than them.
It's like if new day would've joined in wwe, doesn't really match.
Although i do like this more serious tone PP beginning to take in their quest for the titles. Maybe things could change but i don't see them as heels like HS is expected to be.

This is a great looking stable. I feel like Hobbs is a given. You could do so much with him involved. They could build a future Bob/Hobbs feud too. Easy way to make Hobbs a face and split from the group when they attack him and reveal a replacement.
But before they get that far, they could grind as tag/trios champs and hold singles. giving Bob the AEW title and having Hobbs chase it in a feud could be good.
I wouldn't hate this if, in my mind and going back 4 years, the HB hadn't always been about black men and black excellence in wrestling. Had the HB not been full black from day one, I wouldn't hate Big Bill and Starks getting back together under the Hurting Tree.

The irony in this thread is not lost on me with everyone fantasy booking every single black talent into their stable.
These same people be having smoke for Triple H sticking all the POC together tho.

The Hurt Business was pre Triple H though right? From my understanding these guys formed a little before or after COVID years ago.
And like I said in my previous post. The group was black excellence and made it all the way to Bobby Lashley becoming WWE Champion.
