This show and Rome seem to get lost in the shuffle when talking about great series.I think it use to come on after Sopranos. But this was my show.I'm about to rewatch it for the 1st time in 14 years.
It used a lot of the same people from the Wire as well.I do , it was like a warm up for the Wire, JUST as good imo and it was only 6 episodes long. Great acting great character story lines.
Yeah, I remember that shyt.
Wonder why The Corner is not on HBOGO?
Yea, I bailed after the first episode of Rome. I was looking for a show on the Roman Empire because I dont know much about it but I think I'm better off finding a good documentary.rome had very strong lead characters...overall the show was boring imo
the corner was a great show...just “one-dimensional” when you compare it to the wire in that it only focused on “the corner”...which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as I sometimes felt that the wire stretched itself thin @ times (I was often bored w/ the political and judicial aspects of the show even tho I understand why those areas were covered)
