For the young heads, King Sun was basically a light skin Rakim without the big mainstream appeal. He came out during the time Hip Hop was on the pro black trend, spitting 5% lingo in his songs. I had his first two albums (XL and Righteous But Ruthless) on cassette as a young lad. Sun had some joints.

I bumped into him about 5 times downtown on Broad and Market or at the arcade back in the day. He was with Twin Hype and those cats. Wasn't he from Patterson or something?

Yeah he had beef with Cube and Da Lench Mob...I think they got into it at one of those Jack The Rapper conferences they used to have in Atlanta...

Every time I think of Sensations now that I'm an adult.... I think about that long, crowded ass hallway that was a deathtrap if anything really jumped off in there. It used to be rammed!

Remember later on (way after Sun's semi popularity faded) him and Doo Wop collaborated and dissed Pac on this track
