Among American players only that did FIBA and Olympics?

KD - no question bout it the GOAT here

- Leader in points, rebounds, 3PT, FTs, +/- among players who played at least 3 Olympics,
- had 30 PPG the first 3 gold medal games, his 2012, 2016 and 2020 Olympic runs are top 3 most ever for PPG by an American
- only man wit 4 Olympic golds in basketball
- carried our weakest USA roster maybe ever in Tokyo where Jrue who just took a flight from celebratin Bucks chip was arguably our 2nd best player
- for FIBA WC 10 he averaged 23 PPG on 55/45/91 shootin and was the only player on the team in double digit PPG
- has an Olympic and FIBA MVP
- 3x USA athlete of the year

Barkley - he was no doubt our best player in 90s in those rules and only brought gold home. 3 golds overall. 15/5/2 on 74% shootin, nikka was even 9/12 from 3 :mjlol: dominant ass nikka seein those eurocacs try to guard him would be like em tryna guard Zion today :laff: also helped usher in a lot of those skilled bigs as a lot of em like Dirk from 90s and 00s was inspired by him specially international players

Kobe - 36-0 on 5 USA teams, scaled his scorin down still was 14/3/2 on high percent and a demon on defense. After b2b bronze for USA in Athens and Japan for FIBA they brought him in and said enough. Brought a mentality, aura, ability to change roles, adapt his game to fit the team and win/dominate/ Redeem Team emerged, had the next era of LeBron, DWade, Melo, Bosh, Dwight CP3, DWill stunned at how he prepared for games and worked out, almost all those nikkas had career seasons in 09 and credited him for it. Back to gold glory for USA and ain't looked back at least at Olympics.

Melo - 04 and 06 bronze for Melo tough but can't deny his level of play. Offensively only KD and Charles was higher than him in that environment
