The fiance found her
ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A search warrant is revealing new details in the death of a Westmoreland County woman at her home in Rostraver.
According to the warrant, Jennah Seibert's fiancé called emergency responders last week after he said he found her dead upstairs in their home on Lenity School Road.
Seibert's fiancé allegedly told police Seibert's throat had been slit, and that the person who did it used his knife. He also said their car had been stolen and that the power was cut to the home.
When police arrived, the report states the man told them: "She's dead. Oh my God. You need to get these people who killed her. They stole her car."
The officer was then directed to where Seibert was found. According to the search warrant, the woman had trauma to her neck area.
Though Seibert's fiancé stated her throat had been cut, a release from the District Attorney's Office said she suffered an 'apparent gunshot wound.'
Through their investigation, authorities believe the couple's vehicle traveled through the City of Monongahela around 9:15 a.m. where it was seen on multiple surveillance cameras.
The search warrant containing the new information was filed to obtain footage from one of those camera.
Last week, the District Attorney's Office released video of a person of interest at the counter of a convenience store in Monongahela.
The district attorney says they believe that person was driving Seibert's black 2024 Lexus GX 550 that was stolen from the 24-year-old woman's home after she was killed.
Investigators say the vehicle was recovered near the store in Monongahela where the man was on camera.
