Saying Roman Reigns is easy, but Reigns has main evented multiple Wrestlemanias and still doesn't necessarily feel like a mainstream star. Hogan, Rock and Austin were mainstream either before or right after main eventing Mania.

So who is it?

If it's a wrestler still on the come up, how many more years until they rise to the scene?

This isn't asking who is the WWE's next top face, because the answer is clearly Roman Reigns. However, Roman Reigns is not mainstream.

It's Braun by a mile. If they don't book him as a "King of the Mountain" Brock Lesnar-esque face with a multi year title run then they lost.

There is so much potential fukkery with Braun. I would book him as the champion and then have him destroy everyone, and then demand his way into the Royal Rumble. Kurt thinks he's being slick and puts Braun in at #1 and then have him dominate in entertaining fashion (fans would love it) and win the whole thing.

If Undertaker ever "recovers" enough for a solid match it could be a good way to set up Braun vs. Taker at Wrestlemania since Braun could say there's no legitimate challenger for his title and then Taker challenges since we know he is "synonymous with Wrestlemania (according to Cole and McMahon)"
