I've noticed that a lot of these jobs require Communications, commerce, or business degrees. What are my odds at getting a job as a marketing specialist, or communications specialist or Marketing coordinator if I don't have experience in the industry or one of those degrees? I have a dual degree in Political Science and English.

should be fine, do you have any work experience?
It's like i said, no experience in those industries. The extent of my work experience is some volunteering here and there and working in a group home

Communications degrees are worthless. If the jobs you're applying for require those degrees, you aren't gonna make shyt. Look elsewhere.
