Wasn't sure if I should post this thread topic in the film room or the the coliseum....

Anyway, between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Brady who has had more success and fame in their respective careers? Tom Brady is the GOAT QB and Arnold Schwarzenegger is the GOAT Movie Star.

Who has achieved more worldwide fame? Who dominated the competition in their field more? Who achieved more success, Tom Brady as a football player or Arnold Schwarzenegger as a movie star?

Obviously Arnold you can argue he’s a HOF in bodybuilding, acting, and politically

If the US was to elect a person to be president that was an immigrant it would be him. He married a Kennedy niece

Good points, but I was talking strictly Arnold's movie career vs Tom's football career.

Just saw your reply above. Arnold is a legend in 3 games, but strictly going off of Movie vs. Football career it's still Arnold.

Not only was Arnold the biggest movie star in the world for about 10 years, he redefined the action movie genre, and what it was to be a movie star.

Tom is gonna go down as a top 5 football player ever, and his superbowl rings feat may never be repeated, but with Football being a team sport, Tom not really having a dynamic personality as Schwarzenegger, and movie acting being viewed as an individual pursuit, Arnold will be more notable longer.

In all honesty, it's hard to separate Arnold's political and bodybuilding careers from his legend.

American Entertainment serves as promotion of American Pop Culture globally the world is drawn here with these images in their mind.

Do you really think I can walk in a pub in Ireland or a market in Kenya and they give a fukk about American football?

Arnold....to paraphrase Bill Burr, hes an immigrant who got famous for working out, started acting in movies despite not knowing the language, and along the way redefined the action genre and really the 80’s/early 90’s, married into royalty, and became governor of a state he cant even pronounce. How many lifetimes would it take one of us to accomplish ONE of those things?

Success is hard to define. You're talking about in what field and where

Clearly football > bodybuilding but when you combine Arnold's movie career which he got off the back of the bodybuilding, then took that movie career to a political career we're talking 1 of 1. Arnold was that dude for like 30 years

You really should be comparing Brady to other sports icons. Arnold is an "icon" icon
