Vince literally sabotaged the entire product for years on end to try getting him over as a singles star, and this was a guy who’d wrestled one singles match on pay per view and hadn’t even found a post shield persona at the time Vince decided he was the guy going forward and had him headlining WM31.

• Won King of the Ring (after 3 months on the active roster)
• Put over clean by Hulk Hogan (after 4 months on the active roster)
• Won the Heavyweight Title and became youngest Heavyweight Champ (after 5 months on the active roster)
• Won the Royal Rumble match (after 10 months on the active roster)
• Won his second Heavyweight Title and Main Evented Wrestlemania XIX

That's an insane Rookie Year

I like both companies, I shyt on Disney products (I actually love most of the MCU) because it gets some people riled up and DC had become the underdog and it's more entertaining to cheer on the underdog.
