Wasn't a lotta scripted things that I thought was legit after I realized wrestling was fake

Only thing I can think of right now that fooled me is the segment where Lawler is preparing to interview Paul Bearer, then they were supposed to cut to commercial but the camera kept running.....the cameraman puts the camera down and you can still see and hear Lawler and Paul talking about how Paul smashed Taker's mother :myspotnash:

For YEARS I thought that was a legit mistake and that they worked it into a storyline....It was the camera being put down and recording the whole thing at an awkward, candid-looking angle that threw off my kayfabe detector

wrestling ruined for me when i was young when my cousin told me how he met million dollar man and how nice he was and then from the corner, a face, i forgot the name was like "hey ted you driving?" basically at the hotel he told me alot of the wrestlers were leaving and shaking hands and talking about their families. i was about 5 years old so this is around 86-87.

also, my sister was on the wrestling team and was older than me, she used to tell me how her coach also helped run a wrestling school in hayward and basically broke it down to me, that was easily the worst, i was about 10 at the time.
