I mean yeah there's other guys that bring the heat but in movies he's that dude.
If I can throw anime composers in there Yuki Kajiura deserves mention. Honestly I didn't even know who the hell she was till i heard Canta Per Me and had to find out who made it


This chick is full of gems like that and Swordland

Herman or Morricone. Williams will get the nod if this was a vote or contest or just general consensus because his work is so ingrained in pop culture but in order to be a tad contrarian, I'm going with those two. Also before he became repetitive, Elfman was putting out great work too. Zimmer is currently the best doing it but don't sleep on Jonny Greenwood either
